what is it
so what the heck is a django mango anyway?
i’m amanda sharpe, and i run django mango out of my pet- and smoke-free home in lindsay, ontario. everything i sell is an original design that i make by hand. i mostly focus on wholesale orders for stores, but offer individual retail sales through etsy or custom orders. i also do occasional craft shows, which i will announce on this site, as well as my facebook page.
from here you can look at galleries of all of the products i offer, as well as some of the colour variations they come in. i am also including some of my personal portfolio, showing off custom orders and other toys i have made. here’s a look at what i offer, with links to the appropriate gallery.

i offer 23 different rattle designs in a variety of colours. they are made with either 100% organic cotton or 100% fair trade organic cotton, and are filled with stuffing made from plastic bottles. they are all handmade, and are package in a reusable fabric bag.

my series of origami mobiles are made with wood dowel and embroidery floss, and the origami is made from either imported origami paper or paper reclaimed from books and magazines, usually vintage. The origami is made by hand, using an old bone folder. Most mobile designs use five strings holding three shapes apiece. I also use glass bead to finish off the strings, and to balance out the stick.

my rattles are sent out in reusable, tie-shut, cloth bags, with a hand-written description on the outside. i also offer origami gift boxes, which are usually sent out for special orders, as well as sold separately. i have stock-piled a wide range of colours, patterns, and fun designs.
